Valis Fundraising Approach
Please review the details below to ensure alignment with our vision and process.
Fundraising Strategy
Our fundraising strategy for Valis Stablecoins sets us apart from typical crypto projects. Instead of launching a conventional ICO with the full supply issued upfront or relying on marketing gimmicks like bots, vanity metrics, memes, and rocket emojis, we are taking a deliberate, phased approach.
We will conduct a series of small funding rounds to minimize dilution, raise capital only when necessary, and adapt to changing market conditions. Each round will be initiated based on mutual demand from both investors and Valis. These rounds will end once Valis Stablecoins is self-sustaining.
A key benefit of participating in these direct funding rounds is the opportunity to acquire tokens in larger amounts than those typically available in secondary markets and at prices usually below current market rates.
Fundraising Goal
Our goal is to partner only with investors who share Valis' vision and strategy. We value quality over quantity, seeking discerning individuals who recognize real value and are not swayed by fleeting narratives. We would rather raise less from aligned backers than more from those who are not a fit.
Investors are free to choose where to allocate their capital. Valis is equally free to choose its investors. Unlike most crypto projects, our process is selective. We accept or reject at our discretion and carefully vet every potential backer, before discussions and throughout the issuance process, to ensure full alignment with our long-term vision and values.
Investors Management
We carefully select who we engage with. Anyone can invest in Valis, but purchasing our token does not automatically grant direct access to the Valis team.
To implement this approach in an online environment, we distinguish between:
- Approved Profile: An actual or potential Investor who has been granted direct access to the Valis team and may purchase tokens directly from the Valis treasury.
- Declined Profile: An actual or potential Investor who has been reviewed by Valis and denied direct access to the Valis team or treasury. These investors may still acquire Valis Tokens through investment syndicates or secondary markets, but they remain outside our direct communication and engagement channels.
- Pending Profile: An actual or potential Investor under evaluation by Valis to determine alignment with its vision and strategy. Pending Profiles do not yet have direct access to the Valis team or the Valis treasury. After review, a Pending Profile may become an Approved Profile or a Declined Profile.
Investment Syndicates and TBS
An investment syndicate pools smaller contributions from multiple investors so they can collectively meet Valis’ minimum investment requirements. This keeps our cap table streamlined and avoids managing many small individual investors.
The largest of these syndicates is The Boring Syndicate (TBS), now the largest Key Investor in Valis Stablecoins after contributing $160,000 in Seed Round C at $0.00013 and $100,000 in Seed Round E at $0.00018 per VSTABLE. TBS aggregates capital from its members and represents them as a single investor.
Inside the TBS Discord, our investors management framework is applied through three dedicated channels (valis-approved, valis-declined, valis-pending), each corresponding directly to the profile categories described above.
